The ingredients for a successful, effective design are numerous.  We know that even the most basic sound system should be carefully modeled before any funds are committed to buying gear.  We carefully consider acoustic  parameters, worship style, loudspeaker coverage, SPL requirements, usability by volunteer operators, input count, monitoring needs, DSP configuration, needed cabling runs, sizes, and locations, floor pocket count and placement, microphone models and placements, AC power availability and requirements, remote turn-on and proper sequencing, and much more. We provide our churches with much- needed wisdom on the crucial balancing of how the budget should be best used to achieve the highest overall quality.  Likewise, video systems bring another set of design considerations; light levels, format and resolution needs, source switching capabilities, distribution both on campus and off, IMAG issues, latency, and live streaming all must be carefully designed and balanced for a successful and effective result. Systems evolve as needs change, new equipment is added, and old equipment is retired.  Maintenance is also periodically required.  Complete, accurate documentation greatly facilitates maintenance, replacements, and upgrades.
